I can’t say enough good things about April McGirr. This was my third time entering the homebuying process, and my experience with April was completely different from the agents I had worked with before. In the past, I often felt like I had to push just to get offers submitted or get timely communication. At times, it seemed like more attention was being given to what would make the transaction easier or what the seller wanted rather than advocating for me as the buyer. Working with April changed my entire perspective on what a real estate agent should be. I decided to give April a chance because I work with her husband, and he told me she was getting into real estate. Taking that chance turned out to be one of the most rewarding decisions I’ve made this year. Her communication was excellent. She was dependable, responsive, professional, and consistently stayed on top of everything. I personally spent more than 16 hours at the property dealing with different things throughout this process, and April put in an incredible amount of time herself. She met contractors and handymen at the property, coordinated work, followed up with people, negotiated quotes, and handled things even when I couldn’t be there. What impressed me most, though, was that she didn’t just tell me what I wanted to hear. At one point, my nerves were getting the best of me. Things weren’t going exactly how I expected, and I started questioning whether I should continue with the purchase. I told April exactly how I felt. Instead of simply agreeing with me or trying to make me feel better in the moment, she stayed factual. She helped me look at the entire situation objectively and understand that the decision I was considering probably wasn’t in my best interest. She was right. Once everything was put into perspective, the house was fairly priced, there were relatively few issues, and only a small amount of work was needed to meet the VA’s Minimum Property Requirements. Once April realized there wasn’t much room to negotiate on the house itself, she found other ways to make the transaction more favorable for me. There was a boat included with the property that originally had a higher asking price. April negotiated it down to half of the original amount. There was also work that needed to be done around the property. Through her relationships with contractors and other professionals, she was able to get some things repaired at absolutely no cost to me. And when we did receive quotes for work, she negotiated with those contractors and managed to get every single quote reduced by some amount. That is what I mean when I say she advocates for her client. April didn’t just submit paperwork and wait for closing. She stayed involved. She communicated. She negotiated. She showed up. She found solutions. And whenever something needed to happen to keep the transaction moving, she figured out who she needed to talk to and got to work. She’s also extremely professional. Regardless of whatever else she may have going on, she stays focused and keeps the deal moving forward. I could keep listing individual things she did, but I don’t think a review can fully explain the level of effort she put into helping me purchase this home. So I’ll put it this way: Give April McGirr the opportunity to work for you. I took that chance, and I am extremely glad I did. If you’re looking for an agent who is dependable, communicates, stays on top of the details, tells you the truth even when it isn’t necessarily what you want to hear, and genuinely works to protect your interests as her client, I highly recommend her.

First of all... WOW! Where would I even kickoff this review. Heather was a true blessing from beginning until end! We had a vision and she was onboard the entire way. We've bought and sold a few homes previously but never received the "white glove" treatment Heather Hayes from The Bazemore Cosy Group provided. Our search began with a plan to build on land. Heather and her team were quick to act. We found the perfect 12 acres in a beautiful area. We asked for a quick close. Heather ensured no details were missed while going through due diligence period. Any challenges were explained which helped us navigate the best choice for us, the Buyers! Closing was even better. Again, Heather along with her partners sharp readiness made each process a joy. Then, wouldn't you know it. We are back with Heather again!!! The home right next door to the land we purchased popped up for sale. It couldn't be true right... a newly remodeled, highly updated, six additional acres, forever home right next to 12 acres magically turning it into 18 beautiful acres with gorgeous vies! Heather was totally onboard again. Her team took off running. We needed another quick close to get our children to the correct school district without having to move midway through the year. Ensuring due diligence for us was clearly a top priority. I could go on for days about how she was prepared, sharp, fun, down to Earth, and just a joy to work with throughout the entire process. Kamerin Bazemore is the best realtor bar none in Middle GA. She was with us every step of the way and had brilliant strategies to help sell our home. She treats every home she markets like it was her own and offers very sound advice especially in tenuous situations. She employs innovative ideas to increase traffic flow and pays attention to every single detail. She’s got a great network and works wonderfully with all realtors.
